Programs

The goal of ATA is to offer providers who work with adolescents, parents and teens with carefully designed programs that address some of the physical, mental and social-emotional issues teens may experience during this unique stage of life.

Programs will be designed for the specific audience targeted. This will be done by talking with the appropriate people representing each organization and tailoring the programs to meet

specific needs of the identified group. All programs will be medically accurate and will align with the cultural norms of the group being served.  Many programs can be adapted for teenagers with special needs.

Each program will be approximately one hour to 1 ½ hours in length and will include a PowerPoint, engaging activities and time for questions and answers.  Handouts will be developed to distribute to participants at the end of the program and will include follow up activities, when appropriate, as well as a list of related resources. Evaluations will be used to see if the goals of each program have been met.

In addition to the direct services we provide, think about contacting ATA if you need:

  • A consultant for any stage of program planning, implementation or evaluation

  • A facilitator for a Staff Development workshop

  • A Focus Group Facilitator

  • A speaker for a conference, workshop or undergraduate/graduate health course

If you are interested in a program or service that you don't see, please contact us to discuss.
